Students & New Fashions
Fashions go on changing rapidly. New fashions appear and old fashions go in the background. After some time, the old fashions re-appear. It is found that new fashions arise from cinema. The dress-makers in film industry design new dresses for actors and actresses. People, particularly students, copy out and adopt these fashions from the cinema screen. This is also true for hair-styles. The students imitate the hairstyles of film actors and actresses. Changes in fashions put many students in a tight corner as all of them are not in a position to afford new fashions in dresses. The fulfillment of the desire for adopting new fashions sometimes leads the students to borrow money and even clothes. Sometimes, quarrels also arise on account of this craze.
