If I Could Have a Superpower
We have all read comic books about superpowers and dreamt of having one. If you found a magic oil lamp, like Aladdin, and a genie offered you one wish to have a superpower; what would you choose?
Would you like to be Superman or Spiderman? I think the best superpower one can have is the ability to become invisible. Imagine you are sitting in class waiting for the History period and all of a sudden you realize that you have forgotten to complete your homework. Won’t it be fun to make yourself invisible and have a laugh while your friends are punished by the teacher! And think of this; your school is playing the finals of a cricket tournament and you require one run on the last ball to win the match. Your batsman hits the ball but it’s going straight to a fielder close by. You can invisibly push the ball further away ensuring they get a run and win the match.
I am having so much fun imagining the possibilities now! Spilling the glass of milk so that my sister gets scolded, finishing the yummy cake without my mother finding out, hiding my grandfather’s reading glasses, playing video games on my father’s laptop when he goes out of the room: this is so much fun!
Oops! I better finish quickly before my mother comes and reads this because if my dream comes true and I get the superpower to become invisible, it won’t remain my secret anymore!
