Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri is situated at a distance of 42 kilometers 1 from Agra in its south-west direction. In 1575, Emperor Akbar had started the work of building up Fatehpur Sikri. For this work several artists and craftsmen had reached Sikri, apart from these craftsmen Hindu skilled men were also called from Gaur. Today also Sikri is incomparable for its placidness, splendour and greatness. Among the buildings over here the most important buildings are the two floor building called Deewane Khaas which is different from all the other buildings in respect to its beautiful carvings and sculpted work. Buland Darwaza is the biggest door in India but it is also included as the biggest door among two doors of the world.
