Fast food or junk food is gaining popularity very rapidly amongst the youngsters. It is regarded as a symbol of modernity, to go to places which serve fast food. Indian food is termed outdated by many youngsters.
Perhaps, most youngsters who consume fast food do not realize the hazards their health is being exposed to. Very often, this junk food is prepared unhygienic ally, using contaminated water and cheap cooking oil. Fine flour is used for preparing this food. It is both harmful for the digestive system and makes the body bulky. It has very little nutritive value. Further, it spoils the skin, leading to unsightly eruptions.
It is high time, we take stock of how much damage this fast food can cause to our system. All those who are health conscious should switch to fresh fruits and vegetables which contain all the nutrients in the right amount and are easy to digest. Green salads, fibrous fruits and juices and lentils keep the body fighting fit. Hygienically prepared home food can be equally appetizing, if served in an attractive manner. Besides, such food is easy on the pocket too, for it costs much less than the highly expensive junk food.
Thus, before you reach out for that mouth-watering pizza, spicy chat, creamy, delicious milk shakes or sundaes or burgers, restrain, yourself and consider for a while the harmful effects of junk food.
