Evils of Drugs
It is an acceptable fact that drug-addiction is a great evil. There are many forms of drugs. Cannabis (bhang) is used on festive occasions, particularly on holi festival. Children get easily attracted to it. It leads them to other intoxicants like charas and smack. It has been found that failures in life are the main causes of drug-addiction. It is also seen that drug-addiction is largely found in the poor strata of society. Ignorance is considered to be one of its causes. The drug-addicts increase their number by alluring their friends towards drugs. The young people in the upper strata of society have also taken to drugs. The drugs effect the being and damage the nerves thereby leading the addicted persons to slow death. A lot of efforts are being made through the media and other methods to make people aware of this evil.
