Eve Teasing
Sexual desire is natural but its manifestation against the laws of the society is wrong. Eve-teasing, whether in the form of indecent or vulgar remarks or physical touch and assault, is a taboo against the society. The eve-teasers employ various methods to harass the opposite sex. They make obscene gestures, sing irritating songs and even touch them. Eve-teasing may be the result of prohibition for the opposite sexes to mix freely with each other. Thus, their feelings get suppressed. In a great measure, influence of western culture is a cause for eve-teasing. Indian culture restricts liberty among the opposite sexes. In India, eve-teasing is regarded to be a crime and law had been promulgated against it.
