Be Kind to Animals
Rinkoo is a naughty kid who is full of mischief. Just this morning, he was poking a stick into a poor dog who was lying in sickness in ‘a corner of our street. The dog is a familiar feature of our street. The kid’s father Mr. Madan Lai Tyagi saw it. He was returning from colony market with bread and eggs for the breakfast. He shouted; “Stop it, Rinkoo! The dog will bite if provoked. Teasing poor animals is a very bad habit. A dog bite can cause rabies for which the treatment requires 14 painful injections in the belly. Do you know that? Remember that dog is man’s best friend, a fine animal. He keeps thieves and vagabonds off our street. Be kind to pets and other animals. How would you feel if someone poked stick in your belly button? Be good, my boy.”
