A Visit to A Garden
I went to see the Moghul Gardens last Sunday with my parents and sister. The Moghul Gardens are situated in the Rashtrapati Bhawan. This is the first garden in Asia to be raised above the ground level. The Moghul Gardens are open to the public in February every year. The Moghuls were very fond of parks. They laid many gardens in India. Moghul Garden is laid on the same pattern. On entering the gate from North Avenue side, I saw a specially made pond in which golden and multi-colored fish were sprawling. Then I saw a row of flowers. There were oranges of the size of lemon. There were beds and beds of flowers everywhere. There was a Bara Dan and a number of fountains. I have the memory of this garden still fresh in my mind.
