A Happy Family
The very mention of the word ‘family’ gives us a sense of comfort and happiness. Why is it that we always think of our family first in times of joy or pain? It is because our family stands by us through our good and bad times. What then, is a happy family made of?
The ABC’s of any happy family are acceptance, bonding and commitment.
Acceptance is the first ingredient. People who come from families where members accept one another’s shortcomings or failures and help each other overcome them, grow into stronger confident individuals. This strength comes front the belief that their family will standby them at all times.
Bonding is very vital for the growth of every family. It could be something as simple as eating one meal of the day together or going away on an annual vacation. Spending time together helps us grow with each other. These memories are the core of every happy family.
Commitment is the last vital ingredient. This includes a commitment to be there for one another, a commitment to laugh at and with each other and last but not the least, a commitment to always love and care for one another.
These are the three pillars on which every family should build their foundation to grow happily as a unit.
