A Bad Personality Trait
‘Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’ by R.L Stevenson is a book which brings out the fact that there is a dark side that exists along with the good side, in every individual. Dr. Jekyll is the good personality while Mr. Hyde is his evil side. We cannot separate positive and negative traits into different people or personalities as we are talking of real life and not fiction.
However, we have a great tool within us and that is will power. With will power we can overcome our negative or bad traits and replace them with positive or good ones. We are born with some traits, while we acquire the rest. There are some desirable traits which we want but cannot acquire, for example, good hair or a deep voice but there are still other traits which we can possess with effort. There are many personality development schools that help you enhance your overall personality- the way you walk, talk and conduct yourself. The most important personality trait to acquire is that of humanity. The most difficult of all, this trait will help you overshadow every other bad personality trait that you may possess.
Just as most good personality traits can be developed so also bad personality traits can be shed and new good ones inculcated.
