Deforestation
A tree is, perhaps, the most valuable gift provided to mankind by mother nature. It gives us all that is required for human life. The very birth starts with the process of provision of wood, shade, fruits, and oxygen. The exchange is nothing but the cutting by the man who fails to obey his part and destroys basic land itself.
“The sun, the moon, and the stars would have disappeared long ago, had they happened to be within reach of predatory human hands.” -Havelock Ellis
The reference is further confirmed by F.D. Roosevelt who says “The nation that destroys its soil, will destroy itself.’
Man is surrounded by greed or lust to earn more. Industrialization induces vacating the land and fixing rocks of industry or towers for industrial offices. This process is rightly described by the people, who visited New York and aw the high building with no trees near about, “This city of rocks’ dwells and exposed to all roots of danger for humanity’. In the same way, land grabbers are capturing the forests and making big buildings. Deforestation not only involves tree destruction but also mages wild animals. They as much block the natural circle and this ultimately results in race destruction. This action has a long-lasting effect on the survival of the human race.
The polluted environment can cast severe effects on human life. The value of trees should be explained to all the people and they should be encouraged to include tree plantation in our traditional life. There is an effective saying that everybody should plant a tree on his birthday every year. In the same manner, presenting trees as birthday gifts should be popularised. This will help us to restore tree forestation as much as we can.
