Dear Sir,
Twelve patients must be left to die or get better as best they can, since twelve beds in this Hospital have had to be closed through lack of funds.
At the moment, we have an overdraft at the Bank of £ 250, and last year we spend £ 150 more than we received.
Will you help us to straighten out our finances? We are not in debt because we are extravagant: but because it is difficult to refuse help when help is needed.
We want to re-open those twelve beds as soon as ever we can. One pound would come as a Godsend.
