Dear Sir,
We have a thousand different gramophone records here, and though we should not like you to have to listen to all of them, you would probably be interested in hearing a few.
Why not drop in one afternoon and let one of our assistants put on just the things you would enjoy hearings? You can make your own selection.
Of course we shall be pleased to sell you any records you fancy; but we strongly object to your thinking that you must buy something just to please us.
If you don’t hear any records you really like or really want, that’s our funeral, not yours.
Don’t trouble to make an appointment just come.
