Respected Sir,
As a representative of Students’ Association, I bring to your kind notice the unhygienic condition of our school canteen and offer my suggestions for improving the same.
Since the school canteen is a refreshment place and is thronged by the students, it must be kept neat and clean. The eatables prepared by the cooks should be kept covered, as a lot of diseases spread through food and water. The washing and drinking water facility areas for the utensils must be located away from the actual kitchen. All the cooks should be instructed to wash the counters, the utensils, and the floors of the kitchen properly; There must be a periodical inspection of the canteen. Secondly, the refreshments should be provided to the students at reasonable rates. Besides, the furniture in the canteen should also be dusted daily. Some chairs are also in need of repairs.
We, students think that if these suggestions are implemented, then it will surely improve a lot the condition of the canteen.
