Value of Goodness
Goodness is a great virtue. It is the pivot of human character. In one’s life, goodness should be the cardinal objective in the conduct of all activities. A person is known by goodness throughout and depicts the victory of good over evil. Man is a complex creature, a mixture of good and evil. The evil tendencies in him are of a negative nature which ultimately lead to destruction. On the other hand, goodness is manifested in brotherhood, unity and cooperation. These are positive tendencies and lead to love and popularity. Goodness in all walks of social life builds up civilization and brings peace and prosperity. The battles of conscience are won through goodness.
