How to Apply for a Job
To apply for a job, one must first of all have a job in mind. For that, it usually helps to scan the “Situations Vacant” columns of news-papers. When one finds something suitable, the process of applying for it begins.
The first step is to take a clean, white, unrolled sheet of paper and fill it up with your bio-data. The bio-data should include age, qualifications, experience, personal interests and your contact telephone number plus address.
Your bio-data should be neatly type-written, but some prospective employers demand a hand-written one. A recent passport-size photograph, duly attested, is usually required too. Now fold your application including the bio-data and the covering letter neatly, put it in an envelope and post it. That done, you will have to wait for a reply. Good Luck!
