Truth is often Unpleasant
Truth is always bitter. One cannot call a spade a spade and get away with it. One has to sugarcoat the bitter truth so as to avoid unpleasantness and bickering. A blind man cannot always be addressed as a blind man, nor can a thief be called thief in his presence. One must be careful and say what one wants in the best possible way. But that does not mean that falsehood should be adopted as a way of life to avoid trouble.
