Honesty is the Best Policy
There is nobody denying the fact that honesty is the best policy. It is such a golden rule which does not require any polishing of any other metal. The truth is the basis of honesty and truth is the ultimate reality of this world. Truth is the Sun. It is bound to rise after the night of falsehood is over. Dark clouds of dishonesty cannot overshadow the sun of honesty for long. Honesty is courageous, honesty is fearless, honesty is the reality and nothing can defeat honest dealings.
We observe some instances around us which seem to encourage dishonesty, falsehood and wrong-doings but ultimately these dwindle away as darkness before the light. The timely encouragement which the wrongdoers get and display a shine is all false and cannot be permanent. There is no place in history for the cruel evil doers. The truthful continue shining on the horizon of the time. Their shine does not fade away and time does not snatch their glory.
An honest leader wins a place is the hearts of people. He is the real leader of the masses. The double-faced leaders do get a public response for some time or till they are attached to the power. Once they are out of power they are thrown out. Honest dealings pay in the long run if immediately they seem to discourage on the face of it. Courage and honesty go hand in hand together. Lie has no legs to stand upon and same is with being dishonest. Dishonesty cannot face the reality and has to say a hundred lies to cover up one act of dishonesty. Hence honesty is the best policy.
