Write a letter to the Editor of an English daily about the Admission Problem in the city.

The Editor,

Sir,
I want to draw the attention of the concerned authority through the columns of your esteemed daily about the admission problems in West Bengal. If you kindly allow me a little space, I shall be highly obliged.
The number of successful candidates in the Madhyamik Examination is increasing each and every year. The number of H. S. seats has not been increased proportionately. Moreover, the Government of West Bengal has decided to withdraw the H. S. course from colleges. Many Madhyamik schools have been upgraded to H. S. School. It is a fact that the newly upgraded schools have no such infrastructure to teach 10+2 courses. A college can accommodate more than three hundred students but a school has no such capacity. The privileges of laboratory, library and reading room in the colleges are more than those of the schools. So-the students are facing great problems getting admission to the H. S. course.
Therefore, I cordially request you to publish it in your highly regarded paper so that the authority may take proper steps to solve the above-mentioned problem.
Yours faithfully,
Govind Raj
