Watching a Concert
Jack jumped up and down in excitement. He was waiting at Jurong Point Shopping Centre for his favourite singer. In his hand was his digital video camera, His favourite singer was going to form a short medley of songs from her latest album and Jack was determined to capture everything on film.
There was a chorus of shouts as the singer walked on stage. She looked much taller in person than in the posters Jack had seen. Jack switched on his camera and began filming. He was standing at the perfect spot because it was unblocked. He could capture the singer as she talked with the audience and sang. Halfway through her performance, Jack shouted her name and she turned in his direction. She waved at the camera. Jack was ecstatic. He wanted to cheer and clap like everyone else but he had to hold on to his camera. He wished the concert would never end.
After just half an hour, the singer thanked her fans for their support and walked off stage. Most of the audience dispersed. Jack stayed where he was going through what he had filmed. He decided to upload the entire footage on YouTube when he got home. Those who could not make IT to the concert would have a chance to watch the singer perform too.
