A Visit to a Children’s Home
On Children’s Day last year, my friends and I visited the children’s home. We gathered in school early in the morning. It was the first time we had visited the home. We had heard a lot about it. We could not wait to go there.
When we arrived, we saw a large group of children waiting excitedly for us at the entrance. My friends and I spent the morning talking to the children. We asked them about what they did at the home. The children were happy to talk to us. They were eager to tell us what they did. My friends and I also distributed sweets and chocolates to them.
In the afternoon, my friends and I put on a performance for the children. We sang popular songs to them. They clapped and sang along with us. We also put up a skit for them. The children roared with laughter when they watched the skit. After the performance, we had tea with the children. We distributed the cakes and pies that we had brought
My friends and I left the home in the evening. We were exhausted but we were glad that we had made the children so happy. We waved goodbye to the children. We promised to visit them again.
