We should help others in time of need
Renowned social worker Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was a merciful person. One day when he was roaming in the streets of Kolkata, he happened to meet an elderly person who was quite upset. On being asked the reason, the old man replied, “I had taken a loan for my daughter’s marriage. But I am not able to repay the money. The moneylender has filed a case against me.” Vidyasagar consoled him and went on his way. The next day when the old man reached the court, he came to know that someone had paid all his debt with interest. It was none other than Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar.
Moral: We should help others in time of need.
