Think twice before you react
Shankar was very fond of plants and flowers. He had a beautiful rose plant in his garden. One day, he went to the market. When he returned, he found the only rose that was growing on the plant was missing. He asked his mother if anybody had gone to the garden in his absence. His mother told him that his best friend Suresh was there to take his bat which he had forgotten. Shankar, hearing this became very angry. He went to Suresh’s house and uttered many insulting words for him. Suresh didn’t say a word.
When Shankar returned home, he came to know that his mother had plucked the flower to offer to the god. Shankar was very upset to realise his mistake. He asked Suresh for forgiveness.
