We should help others in times of need
Sunil was going to a nearby village with his father to attend a relative’s wedding. There was a drain in the midway. Sunil saw a calf drowning in the drain. It was lowing loudly. Sunil showed it to his father. His father at once took off his shoes and jumped into the drain. After struggling for some time, he succeeded in saving the life of the calf. The calf at once ran to its mother. Sunil said to his father, “Father, how can we go to the wedding now? Your dress has become dirty.” The father patted Sunil and said, “Son, it’s Ok. But if I hadn’t saved the calf, then my soul would have got impure, which I can’t even imagine.” Then both the father and the son returned to their home.
Moral: We should help others in times of need.
