The Ant and The Chrysalis
Once an Ant in search of food in the field came across a Chrysalis. It was very near its time of change. The Chrysalis moved its tail slowly, and thus attracted the attention of an Ant. Poor, pitiable animals cried the Ant mockingly.
‘What sad luck is yours! I can run here and there, at my will, and can easily climb up the tallest tree. But alas! You are lying here in your shell, with the ability only to move a joint or two of your scaly tail’.
The Chrysalis heard all this but did not answer. A few days after, when the Ant passed by that way again, nothing but the shell remained. He wondered what happened to him, he suddenly saw the gorgeous wings of a beautiful Butterfly
‘Look at me’, said the Butterfly, I am your much-pitied friend! Now show off your powers to run and climb, saying so, the Butterfly rose up in the air. Soon, the Butterfly disappeared in the sky and was out of sight forever.
