The postal system all over the world has become very simple. Delivery and registrations of letters, parcels, and packages no longer require lengthy procedures. However, one thing which is still the same is the necessity of carefully packing the parcel which is to be sent by post. In the absence of which the article which is being sent may suffer damage or theft. The process of packing a parcel is simple. Yet it needs a lot of care. Place the article to be posted in a cardboard or wooden box and seal it. Now place this box on a square piece of strong cloth. Neatly fold the box in the piece of cloth. Stitch the sides and seal them. Write your name and the address along with that of the receiver on the sealed parcel. The name and address should be clearly written. Now take the parcel to the post office. The clerk at the registration window will weigh the parcel and tell you the value of the stamps that are to be affixed on the parcel. You then buy the requisite value of stamps and paste them on the parcel. Hand the parcel over to the booking clerk. He will give a receipt in return. Your parcel will thus be registered and posted.
