Sir,
Most respectfully I would like to bring to your kind attention that I have received an offer from the captain of a local football club called ‘Domingo Eleven’ to play a friendly football match with our school team in our playground. We badly need to play a match with an outside team to have our skills honed before the Inter-School tournament scheduled for the next month. The local team has some very good players.
I request you on behalf of the school football team to kindly grant permission for the match to be played in our school playground. The date can be fixed as and when it is convenient for you, preferably after school hours. Our coach and physical training teacher have also favored the match. They can be consulted if you so like.
