Subject: Non-receipt of journal
Sir,
I remitted a full year subscription of the journal ‘Body Builder’ (fortnightly) for Rs. 1100 only in the month of January instant to its New Cross Road, Mumbai-400007. office. I duly received the receipt of the payment and was given subscription no. 400298/07 in the same month. But I received no copy of the journal. By now I should have received 11 copies of the journal but I received none in spite of the several reminders to the circulation manager.
It is very strange that a sports journal treats its subscribers in such a shabby and irresponsible way. The journal is not a hoax. Its issues can see on the pavements for sale regular1.11On due dates without fail. I wonder if the journal has some special treatment reserved for annual subscribers in spite of the fact that they pay the full annual payment in advance.
I am sending you a photocopy of their letter acknowledging the receipt of payment and allotment of the subscription number. Will the Circulation Manager look into the matter and ensure that my copies, all the due issues of the journal are dispatched immediately and in the future, the issues are sent regularly?
Yours faithfully
Abdul Rehman Qureshi
