My Favourite Hobby
Hobby is not what one chooses with great thinking but just does it out of the liking for it or the interest towards ‘ it. That is why we find people having even the strangest of hobbies. From sleeping, eating ice- creams, stamp, collection, coin collection, clock collection to playing computer games during our free time — the list is endless.
My favorite hobby is reading and I love to do this whenever I get a chance. It gives me great pleasure reading different kinds of books like comics, mythological stories, humorous stories and books which tell us facts with pictures in it. Reading helps me learn new words, phrases and understand things better. Sometimes when I am totally involved in it I forget myself and get transported to the world of characters in the book. I also read pieces of paper sometimes used for wrapping by the shopkeeper and find something interesting. I am so crazy about reading that sometimes I forget my duties! I feel very happy when people gift me story books on my birthday and receive books as prizes from the school.
Reading is wonderful hobby which is not expensive since we can always borrow or exchange books. It’s a hobby which can be a favorite companion as we grow old and feel lonely.
